 We have been the biggest compressor producer in Poland for over 40 years. These are the compressors for the pneumatic brake systems applied in trucks, buses and tractors. to 1908 . The automotive equipment and accessories have been producing since 1929. Till 1999 POLMO had produced carburattors and fuel pumps.The production of these products was moved to the other companies, hence since May 2000 POLMO has been producing compressors and their parts.
POLMO produces both for the OEM and aftermarket.
In the past POLMO supplied the whole automotive industry in Poland
POLMO has developed the cooperation with the foreign customers and thanks to this cooperation most of POLMO production is exported.
POLMO cooperates with such companies as WABCO, KNORR-Bremse, HALDEX.
New machinery and modern measurement base let POLMO machine such parts as:
- crankshafts made of steel forgings and cast iron castings,
- cast iron and aluminium housings,
- valve plates cooled by air and water,
- cast iron cylinders - Plateau
POLMO has got also its own R&D Department which allows to develop new projects.
POLMO enlarged its assortment some years ago , by starting the production of turbine housings for turbochargers produced by Borg Warner Turbo Systems (former KKK).
